About the Project:

National Dairy Plan (NDP) is an initiative of the Government of India and supported by the World Bank. The initiative is currently being implemented in 14 major milk producing states. NDP aims to strengthen dairy sector in the country by increasing milk production and providing rural milk producers with access to the organized milk-processing sector. NDP also intends to empower socially excluded groups, such as women and SCs/STs, through strengthening of the dairy sector.
