Prof. Pramod K. Singh has been invited by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as part of its working group as Lead Author as a part of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report on Climate Change 2021: Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability.
The IPCC is a leading international body for assessments related to climate change. Set up by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) the panel reviews and assesses the latest climate change pertinent scientific, technical, and socio-economic information.
The IPCC Working Group - formally known as WGII AR6 - will be working on providing policy-relevant and solutions' for the governments across the world. Prof. Singh will be working as Lead Author on Climate Resilient Development Pathways.
