He stressed on the challenges that Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) like ActionAid UK have contended with over the last decade, especially after the global financial meltdown of 2008 and how it gave the latter the opportunity to explore and communicate a clear and distinct identity across the world, viz. "Together, With Women and Girls", which is now the linchpin of the organization's developmental efforts.
Mr. Ram Kapur, an alumnus of PRM 5 batch of IRMA was also present.
Mr. Menon has more than 30 years of experience in the field of international development. He has previously held leadership positions in renowned organizations like WaterAid, Department for International Development (DFID), Plan International, as well as ActionAid India.
