In 1979, he established the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) to fulfil the mission of developing a cadre of professional managers who would contribute to the development of rural India.Over the past 39 years, IRMA has strived to foster the core tenets of academic excellence, integrity and creativity.
Since his passing away in 2012, Dr. Kurien's absence has left behind a gap that is and will continue to be felt forever. His vision continues to guide us every single day.
