The Incubator for Social Enterprises and Entrepreneurs for Development (ISEED) at IRMA organised the sixth edition of its flagship Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on Building and Managing Social Enterprises from 26th-28th June, 2019 at IRMA.
Twenty participants from diverse backgrounds attended this three-day programme. The EDP was designed to encourage start-ups to think and plan activities differently by using insights from innovation, design-thinking and lean start-ups for enabling social enterprises to build business models for growth and scale.
Apart from regular sessions, key highlights of this edition were an open house market place for participants to display and sell their products and a small belief fund to support one idea per entrepreneur selected unanimously by the cohort itself.
ISEED also mentored applicants to apply for the on-going Green Business Challenge 2019 and a few of the enterprises have already been shortlisted for the final round.
The successful completion of the programme strengthens ISEED’s resolve to work closely with these enterprises in the future and provide them with incubation support in their entrepreneurial journeys.

ISEED works with early stage enterprises with a clear focus on rural and social enterprises.
