IRMA's Incubator ISEED

The Incubator for Social Enterprises and Entrepreneurs for Development (ISEED) at IRMA was launched on August 22, 2016 through an international seminar on "Seeding Social Enterprise and Innovation in Universities".

ISEED works with early stage enterprises with a clear focus on rural and social enterprises. ISEED brings to its incubation ecosystem extensive experience and expertise in providing support to social enterprises through networks, collaborative research, entrepreneurship training, and capacity building. For more details about ISEED work, please visit ISEED's website.

ISEED seeks to add value to enterprises along three verticals and has a national presence with 13 incubatees and several partners. It connects them to form a collaborative peer network of rural-minded, socially sensitive, and impact-oriented entrepreneurs:

  •  Agriculture and small agribusiness
  • Sustainable habitats and sanitation
  • Servicing rural India covering rural tourism, clean energy, education and ICT.
