Upgrading Technology

The five cases included in this volume deal with the processes of decision making within the environment of institutions, who are themselves users of upgraded technology or "inducers of technology up gradation" among users. Issues discussed in the cases range from investments in intermediate technology, choosing correct technology, marketing of intermediate technology, to communication gap between innovators and technology users.
