The Summer Internship Segment (SIS) exposes participants to the functioning of organizations and gives them an opportunity to apply, test, and polish the skills acquired in the classroom. Participants develop practical skills and gain a realistic idea of the managerial functions in organizations with a rural footprint. SIS helps participants develop the key abilities that they will need on the job: working effectively with others, thinking and acting positively, learning to manage people, and improving written and oral communication skills. SIS is also likely to help the participants bag pre-placement offers.
