Financial assistance is provided to deserving candidates through various following schemes and scholarships.
IRMA Merit-based Scholarship:
IRMA has instituted 20 merit-based scholarships worth Rs. 1.17 crore for the students of its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management) – or PGDM (RM). Out of the 20 scholarships, 10 would be given exclusively to female candidates. The scholarship amount will be up to 50% of the tuition fee. The scholarship in the first year will be based on the overall selection merit
of IRMA’s admissions process, and in the second year it will be awarded based on the academic performance, i.e., the CGPA of the first year at IRMA.
Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarship*:
The Mirae Asset Foundation awards scholarships to three deserving candidates from each year of the flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management).
IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholarship*:
The scholarship is provided to deserving students for the entirety of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management).
SC Scholarships*:
This scholarship covers the entire cost of education of SC candidates are available at IRMA. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has allocated 4 scholarships to IRMA for SC students. The scholarship covers tuition fees, non-refundable charges, lodging and boarding expenses, cost of books, stationery, and a personal computer. For more information visit : www.socialjustice.nic.in
ST Scholarships*:
A scholarship is allocated for ST students by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The number of the scholarship will be decided by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India every year. Scholarships for Students with Disabilities*:
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for Top class Education for Students with Disabilities of The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities is available at IRMA (https://depwd.gov.in/).
PM - YASASVI - OBC & Others*:
The Ministry of Social Justice Empowerment, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment is implementing an umbrella scheme namely PM Young Achievers’ Scholarship Award Scheme for a vibrant India (PM-YASASVI) for the welfare of OBC, EBC and DNT students. One of the component of this scheme is Top Class College Education for OBC and other students. In the scheme for OBC &
others, Ministry will provide full tuition fee and non-refundable charges with a celling of Rs. 2.00 lakh per annum per student along with living expenses, assistance for books and stationery and a latest computer/laptop. For more information visit: https://socialjustice.gov.in/
Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme*:
The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is available at IRMA as per the AICTE rules.
Educational Loans:
Educational loans are available from various banks without any collateral and at very student friendly interest rates and loan repayment procedures.
*Number of scholarships and Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme are based on year to year sanctions/approval from the concerned authorities.
*Students can apply for any scholarship only after joining the programme and formal announcement of the same by the concerned Ministry /organisation.
